Students are our future: Education minister

HUBLI: Students will shape the country's future, said R V Deshpande, education minister, here on Sunday.
After inaugurating stalls on innovative projects, organized by LEAD, he urged students to be ambitious and to work hard towards fulfilling their goals.
Pointing out that students now have to compete globally, he said, "Earlier, our students had to compete only with peers in neighboring districts."
Referring to the projects on display, Deshpande said, "Such innovative projects encourage young minds to innovate." He stressed that students must try their hands at innovation and utilize resources and facilities available to them at their institutions.
